Who this course is for
Ramadan and the other blessed periods of the year are times when many Muslims want to study more intensely. These programmes are designed for exactly that — a short, focused burst of learning that fits the season without requiring a full-year commitment.
Adults and families who want to use Ramadan to deepen their Quran reading, memorisation or understanding.
If you have a short-term goal — finishing a Juz, memorising a specific surah, learning Tajweed basics — a seasonal intensive is ideal.
Holiday periods are a natural time for children to catch up or get ahead — arranged around your family's schedule.
A short programme is a low-commitment way to try regular study before committing to a longer course.
Learning outcomes
Because these are short programmes, the outcomes are focused. Depending on the programme you choose, you will be able to:
Programmes
Each programme below runs for a short, defined period — typically two to six weeks — and can be customised around your starting level and goals. If you want a focus that is not listed here, ask and we will design a programme around it.
Use the month of Ramadan to make substantial progress in recitation, memorisation or understanding. Includes the rulings of fasting and the spiritual dimensions of the month.
A focused programme for the final ten nights of Ramadan — increased recitation, study of Surah Al-Qadr, and preparation for Laylat al-Qadr, with flexible scheduling around late-night worship.
Study the rulings and virtues of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, the day of Arafah, and the rulings of Udhiyah (sacrifice) — timed to the season.
The rulings and virtues of Muharram, the day of Ashura, and the historical events behind them — including the significance of the month in the Islamic calendar.
For children on school holidays — an intensive memorisation sprint with a realistic target set with the teacher, plus structured revision to consolidate what has been learnt.
If you paused a course or let your practice lapse, this short programme gets you back on track — targeted at whatever was lost, at a pace that rebuilds confidence.
How lessons work
Seasonal programmes are more intensive than regular courses — more sessions per week and a clearly defined endpoint — but the format remains one-to-one and live, so the pace is adjusted to you.
One-to-one, live — the intensive format does not mean group teaching; the attention is still fully on you.
3–5 sessions per week — more intensive than our regular courses, with a defined programme length.
Flexible timing — sessions can be arranged around Suhoor, Iftar and night prayer during Ramadan.
Short sessions for children — 20–30 minutes for younger learners, adjusted during fasting.
Clear endpoint — the programme ends with a review of what has been achieved, and options for continuing.
Before starting a seasonal programme
If you would prefer to study at a regular pace rather than intensive, that is always an option — browse all courses or mention it in the trial request and we will adjust the schedule.
Questions
Common questions about these programmes. If yours isn't here, ask it with your trial request.
We recommend requesting your free trial four to six weeks before Ramadan begins, so the teacher matching, scheduling and goal-setting are all in place before the month starts. Places during Ramadan are limited because our teachers run a fuller timetable. If you only decide during Ramadan itself, we will do our best to accommodate you — but booking early gives you the widest choice of teachers and times.
Intensive, but realistic. Most programmes run three to five sessions a week for two to six weeks — more frequent than our regular courses, but designed around the actual demands of the season. During Ramadan, we deliberately keep session lengths shorter to account for the physical effects of fasting, and we schedule around Suhoor, Iftar and Taraweeh. The goal is a sustainable intensive, not an exhausting one.
Yes — school holidays are a natural time for children to make focused progress, and the school holiday Hifz sprint is designed specifically for this. We adjust session length and intensity for children (shorter sessions, more breaks) and set realistic targets with you and the child together. If your child is new to Quran study, we recommend starting with Noorani Qaida rather than a seasonal sprint.
Many learners do. At the end of the programme, we agree with you what comes next — either continuing with the same teacher on a regular schedule, moving to one of our full-length courses (which you can browse at our courses page), or pausing until the next season. There is no pressure to continue, and no penalty if you do not — the programme stands on its own.
Yes — this is a common arrangement. Many learners who are already studying with us use a seasonal programme to add focused study on a specific topic (for example, adding a Last Ten Nights programme to their ongoing Tajweed or Hifz studies). Your teacher will help you balance the two so you are not overcommitted during the season.
