Why learners stay

Teaching built around one learner at a time

Group classes move at the speed of the group. One-to-one lessons move at the speed of the learner — which is why correction, confidence and progress happen faster.

  • 01

    Undivided attention

Every session is taught one-to-one, so pace, correction and encouragement are shaped around the learner rather than a shared timetable.

  • 02

    A clear sequence

Courses follow defined stages, so you always know what is being learned now and what comes next.

  • 03

    Teachers held to a standard

Recitation, subject knowledge and teaching ability are assessed before a teacher joins, and reviewed through ongoing learner feedback.

  • 04

    Times that fit real life

Morning, evening and weekend slots across time zones, with straightforward rescheduling when something changes.

Learning pathways

Three routes through the academy

Pathways connect individual courses into a sequence, so study has direction rather than drifting from one topic to the next.

Teacher quality

How we select and support teachers

A learner's experience depends almost entirely on the teacher. Our selection process exists to protect that experience — and it does not stop at hiring.

Any certification or qualification a teacher holds is stated on their individual profile, so you can see exactly who you are learning with.

  1. Step 01

    Qualification review

We review each applicant's Quranic education, subject knowledge and relevant teaching experience.

  2. Step 02

    Recitation assessment

Applicants recite live and are assessed on Tajweed accuracy, fluency and clarity of pronunciation.

  3. Step 03

    Teaching trial

Short teaching sessions are observed for clarity, patience and how well the teacher works with the age group they will teach.

  4. Step 04

    Ongoing review

Learner feedback and progress are reviewed so that standards hold over time, not only at hiring.

Progress & support

Support that keeps learning on track

Progress is not only about how fast a learner moves — it is about whether they keep going. Our support structure is designed to make continuation easy.

  • Regular progress feedback — so you know what has improved and what comes next.

  • Revision built into lessons — so earlier learning is not lost as new material is added.

  • Updates for parents — for younger learners, so families stay involved in the plan.

  • Teacher changes on request — if the fit is not right, we will arrange a different teacher.

  • A clear point of contact — for scheduling questions, rescheduling and anything else.

A typical learning cycle

Learn New material with your teacher
Practise Short daily work between lessons
Review Revision of earlier learning
Advance Move to the next stage

The exact rhythm is agreed with your teacher and adjusted as the learner progresses.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not answered here, send it with your trial request and we will reply directly.

Your teacher meets the learner, checks their current level and talks through goals. You will see how a normal lesson runs and receive a recommendation for a starting course and pace — with no obligation to continue.

Yes. Many of our learners start with no Arabic reading ability at all, including adults. The Foundations Pathway begins with recognising and pronouncing individual letters.

We match teachers to your local hours and coordinate a suitable time with you after receiving your trial request. Rescheduling is handled through your usual contact point.

Yes. Female teachers are available for sisters and for young children. Simply note your preference in the trial request form.

Lesson length and frequency are agreed with your teacher and usually reflect the learner's age, concentration and goals. Younger children typically have shorter, more frequent sessions; adults often prefer fewer, longer ones.

Select "Not sure yet — please advise" in the form. We will assess the learner's level in the trial class and recommend a course or pathway.

Yes. Many families combine a Quran course with Islamic Studies, either in the same lesson plan or in separate sessions. Your teacher will help you balance the two.

A device with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. We will send you the class link and any materials before your first lesson.
